Moha Mohalized, the founder and CEO of Pride of Embakasi believes in a transformation and rebirth of the matatu industry, first and foremost by change in attitude and mindset towards the industry. We had a brief interview, read it below;

2. As a stakeholder In the transport industry, what role do you play? - I advice current and upcoming Investors on how to survive in the matatu industry, that is matatu graphic designs, sound installation etc
3. What challenges do you mainly face in your line of work? - Society mindset of people working in the Matatu Industry have bad behavior and aren't learned enough.
4. How would you like the government to help you and the industry in general in the work you do? - Assurance from the government to support through financing and putting up policies that encourage investors to invest in the matatu industry.
5. When did you know about the Heels and Wheels Africa (Matatu is bae) Initiative? - Back in 2018 during the Matatu is Bae valentine edition.
6. Do you think this initiative has positive impact on the industry? - It appreciate people who are seen not important in the society, that is the matatu drivers, conductors and stage managers.
7.. What can be done to appreciate different stakeholders such as drivers and touts this year? - Giving them awards and recognizing their everyday efforts.
8. What is your hope and objective you wish to achieve in this year 2022? - Growing up the Pride Of Embakasi™ brand and also showing the positive deeds in the matatu industry.
9. What is your message to Kenyan youth this election year.? - Every youth to register as a voter and vote wisely in the upcoming elections
