President Uhuru Kenyatta's nonchalant approach to rallying support to a preferred candidate in the August election tells a lot about the quality of options have on the table for a country that desperately needs transformative leadership but only has options that absolutely offers zero chances for that.
With a circle surrounding the president comprising friends turned political foes, the President has been on the receiving end of attacks and mockery of his so called indecisiveness in picking sides. With an appropriate shrewd response, he has clearly stated that he is only interested in showing support for leaders that have show interest and supported his agenda of delivering his development agenda. He nodded in agreement of Joho, the Mombasa County governor as having the mindset to further lead the citizenry in the right direction, a comment that might be inferred as indirect support for the bridging bridges initiative counterpart Raila Amolo Odinga.
