Ms Rumbidzai Muzopa is proud to represent her country on regional and international modeling stages in different pageants she has featured on. The Miss World Zimbabwe 2017 finalist shares her view and opinion on different industry related matters on the brief interview here;

1. Hello, how would you like to introduce yourself?
1.My name is Rumbidzai Hannah Muzopa AKA "DUCHESS" age 22 years .I am in my Final year studying an Honors Degree in Real Estate Management at The University of Zimbabwe...I was born and raised by both religious parents in a family of 5 siblings me being the 4th and we are quite close  .....I enjoy travelling ,watching movies, dancing and quite a good chef.... I play handball and basketball...I am passionate about modeling and believe am locally brewed with charisma to stage internationally as a brand.

2. What inspired your passion or interest in modeling?
2. It started off as an admiration from watching Fashion TV and Americas
next top Model then the admiration grew into desire and I had to make
it a reality by chasing what I was born for.

3. Being a model for over 6 years, how has your experience been in the modeling sector?
3.The modeling Industry has ups and downs like any other profession
but it has taught me to take things as they come ...it’s a hustle
getting your name to be known out there worse  sponsorship but with
the right  connections and supportive family I can safely say I'm
doing well and aspiring for higher.

4. What's your greatest highlight so far in your modeling career?
4. My greatest highlight is being the Top model of Zimbabwe 2018 as I
managed to represent my Country at World stage in Egypt Dec 2-16Dec
2018.
 5. What are some of the challenges you have come across?
5. I have found myself in  compromising contracts and have experienced
be it bad management...Without a legal background models tend to be
taken advantage of.

 6. Do you reckon the modeling industry in Zimbabwe has reached its full potential?
 6. Its progressing yes but there is need for more. There are extremely good models
In Zimbabwe but management side is terrible and hence freelance models excel more than those under agencies....Also sponsorship for Individuals who represent our Country is a cause for concern as a result we send half baked models and expect golden results.
Model are taken advantage of, used , and looked down upon yet it's
actually a profession in which one can earn a living...just like a doctor

7. What do you reckon can be done to improve the modeling & fashion industry in
Zimbabwe?
7. Its high time The Top Dogs and People of high influence chip in,
support and endorse the modeling industry because its empowering  the
girl child.
-Good marketing through intensive media coverage for recognition
nationally and internationally for our representatives
-Qualified personals to have the right credentials for Management of the models
-Designers should be recognized and be appreciated for the effort they
put in the modeling industry..For example Tapfumaneyimunenge and
Nandilarethi
-Campaigns to spread the word  on models' "rights" time and time again
because they are humans at the end of the day and should be not be
manipulated or shunned through  societal beliefs  but to be respected
and given a chance
.
