DETERMINED AND COURAGEOUS; MEET KENYAN FASHION AND COMMERCIAL MODEL PURITY EBOYI

Determination and courage are  Purity's virtues that she holds dear in her pursuit of success in the fashion, beauty and modeling industry where she aspires to make her mark and as brand. We got a glimpse into her life on the brief interview; check it out!


1. Hey how would you like to introduce yourself?
1.My name is Purity Eboyi a 21 year fashion model.


2. When did you discover your passion for modeling?
2.Back  in highschool  when there was a cultural day event which had a pageantry competition for mr cultural day but other than that i had a connection for photography, not just any photography but creative ones that have meaning.

3. How long have you been modeling?
3.7-8 years now,since i was in form 2

4. Who influenced or Inspired you to get into modeling?
4.it was just a feeling of belonging in modelling world and cameras not forgetting my love for fashion (i take pretty good shots too),

5. How had your experience been so far?
5.so far so good, few disappointments Along the way but what could be of us without the disappointments, how will we own up to our success.


6. What opportunities and challenges have you encountered?
6. I've been able to work with amazing  passionate models in  the lake Victoria fashion week, contested in the Moi fashion week where i became first runners up among other runway experiences, I have also had the privilege of working with amazing designers for commercial jobs, worked with Vazi Couture, A Kenyan Youth crowdfunded media company. That publishes on African creatives . Challenges, a  photographer failing to deliver photos after putting in some much of my effort

7. What brands do you aspire to work with?

7.ooohh i wish for the day I'd work with Vogue, i believe I'm legit vogue material, other than that  huddah cosmetics.

8. What projects do you look forward to get involved with this year?
8.working with The 'Collab project a joint and collaborative space that allows creatives across Africa to connect, & work on ideas and share expertise; an initiative by Vazi Couture and the launching of a major collection by designer Stuart Jeffries

9. What are your other interests apart from modeling?
9.i can paint and draw,i can dance salsa,i tried skating,i am sporty i can play badminton, football,handball 

10. Which beauty pageants have you participated in so far?
10.participated in one,mr and miss Glamour university but discovered pageantry isn't really my thing, smiling on stage and walking slow, I'm more into high fashion

11. What's your advice to young girls that aspire to pursue modeling?
11.follow and trust your heart, do what makes you happy
