A KENYAN LEGEND IN HIS OWN WAY MEET CELEBRATED ACTOR & DIRECTOR - SHERIFF BA MKUBWA, SET TO IMPACT THE FILM INDUSTRY

The Kenyan Film industry has come a long way. Everyday we celebrate the milestones and hail the achievement of different stake holders. Today we highlight and celebrate a Kenyan Legend who has been consistently pushing the limits in the film and entertainment Industry. We had the opportunity for an interview with Benson Muchiri, populary known as Sheriff Ba Mkubwa;

1. Hey Sheriff Ba Mkubwa, how you you like to introduce yourself?

1. Am Benson W. Muchiri stage name Sheriff Ba Mkubwa aka Mshefa, an actor/producer/Director/ an Event organizer and The CEO Mshefa Media

2. How long have you been doing cinematography & production?

2. Mmmh... i'v been in the industry for quite some time since 2009 up to date

3. What drew your interest towards production?

3. Back then i used to be a stage actor doing stage plays and dramatized poetry and i would wish to be on tv especially when i watched Nigerian movies

4. Who are some of the people that inspired you to follow this path?

4.Tahidi high actors like Omosh, O.J and Fredie their acting skills used to inspire me big time.

5. How has your journey and experience been in the industry so far?

5. Well i'v learnt a lot in the long run and grown big time from a stage actor to a film producer its an achievement to me

6. What valuable lessons have you learned in the industry?

6.Discipline, hard work and never give up is everything to me.

7. Tell us about some of the key projects you have worked on that really stands out

7. I worked with Patikana show on kiss Tv as a main actor where by we used to prank celebrities*

b) i've featured on mchungaji show as a supporting Actor

c) i was in Gag Battle a comedy show that aired on GBS Tv.

d) i was a main actor at The Office KU Tv.

e) Am currently at central cinema inooro tv.

9. What do you reckon can be done to improve the Kenyan film & entertainment industry?

9. Media Support in terms of airing/playing 99.9% local content

 Government and NGOs should set up training  workshops for actors,producers, Directors and script writters
