Taking bigger and bolder strides towards her modeling goals, meet Kenyan Model, Pollykate.


Katypolly shares her aspirations and gives her two cents on industry related issues in pursuit of her goals
1.Hello, how would you like introduce yourself?
1~Am Pollykate popularly known as Katypolly. An upcoming media practitioner and a Kenyan based fashion model.
2. How long have you been modeling?
2. Have been Modeling since I was in class five but professionally two years.
3. What motivated you to get into modeling?
3. Basically, passion is what drove me. I was also looking for a platform on which I could grow as well as challenge myself.
4. Do you consider yourself  as a runway model, commercial  model or more of a freelancer?
4. Am a runway as well as commercial model working with Amell agency and Polkafashions Kenya.
5. Which brands and popular do firms you aspire to work with in the  industry in future?
5. I would love to work with VMTM models and Elite fashions in Hamilton,Toronto.
6. What has been your biggest challenge so far?
6. The exploitation in the industry: spending on events which you don't get paid at the end of the day.

7. Where do you aspire to be in the next 2years in the industry?
7. I aspire to work with S.A based agencies such as Espoir and La Charmante.I would you also love to mentor budding models and empower them.
8. Do you reckon there are enough opportunities for new entrants in the modeling  industry in Kenya?
8. Yes.Yet the players in the game are too many. One as to be unique to outstand the rest.
9. What are your other interests and hobbies  apart from  modeling?
9.I love reading novels, listening to music and socializing:mostly meeting people from different walks of life who expose me to new things.
