THE BLURRY LINE BETWEEN ERIC OMONDI'S ACTIVISM AND CLOUT CHASING

Popular East African Entertainer, Eric Omondi has always stirred controversy in both entertainment and political circles, poking the question, is he truly an activist for the courses he purport to represent or is it all for clout and drawing numbers for personal, social and financial gain?

Some months ago, Eric omondi's video of him issueing an ultimatum to both William Ruto and Raila Odinga, the top contenders in Kenya's National Election this year went viral, as Eric supposedly called out both leaders for lack of a clear youth Agenda in their political manifesto. 

Most youth in Kenya agreed with Eric omondi in their realisation that none of this candidates has a plan but vague words for the youth who make up over 60% of the electorate. 

However,. It was absolute disappointment when days later Eric Omondi announced that previous sentiments he shared were pre-squel for his announcement of Public support for another Business man turned politician Jimmy Wanjigi. 

Hence the popular consensus , that like many other Entertainers Eric Omondi just ought to stick to Entertainment and not politics and activism which isn't his forte!
