The exuberant and warm hearted Mzungu might stand out as of course there are not many Mzungus operating in the transport industry but her kind spirit and great personality, make her stand out even more . We had a chance to interview her brief about her work in transport as she works to give support to women in the male dominated transport industry and the upcoming industry appreciation event, Matatu is Bae, check it out below;

1. My names are Lucia Alessandra Murotto, I am a 31yr old single mum of an 11yr old boy.
2. As a stakeholder In the transport industry, what role do you play?
2.I am a professional conductor and also I Am A Member Of Flone Initiative- An Organization That Deals With Issues & Give Support To Women In Transport in East Africa.
3. What challenges do you mainly face in your line of work?
3. Some times Passengers abuse and colleagues who do anything to push you down.
4. How would you like the government to help you and the industry in general in the work you do?
4. It would be a nice project to actually have the registered crews to be having FREE trainings on a bit of everything. How kids can get to school safely.
5. When did you know about the Heels and Wheels Africa (Matatu is bae) Initiative?
5. I met Raquel the 1st edition of valentines matatu is bae. And since then i see her once a year on valentines day.and its a true bond. So i thank matatus because i met her there.
6. Do you think this initiative has positive impact on the industry?
6.Yes. Very much. Its the small things that matter and believe you me, valentines day for the matatu operators is eagerly waited
9. What can be done to appreciate different stakeholders such as drivers and touts this year?
9. If i have to be honest, try having more time.
10. What is your hope and objective you wish to achieve in this year 2022?
10. Get my permanent job and make a mark and legacy in my work.

11. Spread love and peace every, do not be used or divide by the politicians, be wise!
