Kiarra McKenna the talented South Sudanese recording and performing artist, that was inspired by Tiwa & Jhene is spreading the message of love in Africa through music . She recently marked her birthday and we had the opportunity for a brief interview. Check it out & discover more about her;
1. Hey hello,how would you like to introduce yourself?
1:My name is Nyajima Mut known as Kemoch.
2. When did you discover your passion for music?
2. I discovered my music passion at a younger age but I had to keep it all together due to my studies. And so I started singing after I graduated from high school.
3. How long have you been doing music professionally?
3. I haven’t been in the music industry for long,it’s hardly not has been a year now.
4. Who are some of the artists that have inspired you or that you look up to?
4. Growing up,I looked up to Tiwa Savage,she has that African feature which just fitted my passion. Among the few, HER,an American singer and Jhené Aiko are the people I look up to too.
5. What inspires your creative process?
5. My inspiration came from my own taste of music,I didn’t come up like everybody else,I came in as me.
6. Tell us about your experience creating your first song?
6. Creating my first song was a bit funny and difficult, but like I said ,I was too serious on it until it got released, it was my great vocals that shocked the fans.
7. Which producers have you worked with?
7. I have worked with a couple of producers, especially the best in town but I’ll like to keep that confidential for now.
8. How would you describe your kind or genre of music?
8. My kind of genre is RnB. It is where I fit in and where I feel so comfortable with. I also do Afro,pop and reggae.
9. What can people or your fans rather expect from you I'm the music next year 2021?
9. I want my fans to expect more creative music in the coming year.
10. What are your other interests apart from music?
10. Part from music,I write poetry,I am also still a student.
