V8 Felicity the Afro-pop & dancehall artist set to take the music industry by storm

V8 Felicity is an Afro pop and dance hall artist based in Nairobi .She grew up in Eldoret and later relocated to Nairobi to further her education. She started her music career  in 2017 as part of a duo music group known as SAUTISOLDIVAS /SOL DIVAS in which she honed her skills in song writing. The duo group  recorded and released several afro-beat and dancehall  songs as well as performing on different shows and platforms such as Mambo Mseto ,Thee upcoming among others .

V8 Felicity released the hit collabo JeJe  featuring a Nigerian Artist AGES

in 2018 and eventually the duo music group broke apart, necessitating her to re-strategize her plans for her music career. She took a break from the scene in mid 2018 till late December when she was planning a major come back and release of JEJE .

After getting back on the scene this year, V8 recorded and released the track titled breakup and katika which are hype high tempo tracks banger that were well received by the her growing fan base as she continues working towards more single and videos. V8 Felicity is receiving great reception as an African music brand in fact she is doing much better and this is an improvement in her career with more focus and concentration on creating great music. She is a manager by profession. The ambitious and  self proclaimed queen of dancehall is focused on releasing more hit songs as a solo artist this year.

With her new identity as a solo artist, she asserts her name V8, comes from popular phrase (gari kubwa) alluding to motor power with over 4500 cc  and powerful self drive. The name was given to her by a legendary singer called Emma Jallamo.

Rumors on social media recently alleged that she was dating a top vernacular artist Musa Jakadalla however, she refuted the claim that poped up around the same time Musa Jakadalla released his most recent song titled NYASEMBO RAMBA.

The talented east African artist aspires for higher heights in her music career this year.
