Investing in yourself and your passion

The question on whats hindering your progress or growth in your art or craft in different creative fields will pop up especially when frustration kicks in when expectations are not met. One important thing and great contributor towards growth in any field is proper investment in form of time, financial resources among other forms of investment.

Growth will not automatically come without some level of sacrifice and investment in whatever you do. I have come across some creatives that have totally overlooked the need to invest in improving their skill through either paid coaching or tutorship while others have overlook the need to invest in marketing and promoting their brand and product or service.
At the very end, the results of course are frustration from stalling in one spot or retrogression when other " new players" come by and get ahead of you real simple. Well, one might say, this is not really a competition but we all know its a competitive creative industry out there whether talking regionally or globally.

Its imperative we understand the level of investment needed to succeed in our practice and work up towards that mark in-order to realize progress. At times we might even need to tap in onto already established and shared platforms that already have some structured opportunities for marketing for example or other benefits such as streaming platforms, events platforms among others to derive accrued benefits from shared resources upon which bigger investment has been made.

Another key investment move you would need is the decision to invest in yourself, then invest in people that invest in you for you to realize the potential in yourself and consequently in your creative career.
