1.Who is DJ Ovaceed?
1. DJ ovaceed whose Real name Is Gerry Adams  born in 90's grew up in
Nairobi area(Kasarani)
2.When did you realise you had the passion for deejaying?
2. I started DJ early last year that's 2016 I used to attend different
functions and see how things are done I just fell in love with making
crowd happy by playing them good music until i gave my self time to
learn everything this year
3. Where does the name ovaceed come from?
3.Ovaceed comes from the word overseed which means a lawn open space
between two woods

4. How was your training in the craft of deejaying?

4.Training can be sometimes easy and hard at the same time it only
depends with who is teaching you and how you are trained.....for me my
training was success and easy because i had a little knowledge about
djing just needed to add skills
5. Whom do you look up to for motivation & inspiration?

5.ZJ heno my mentor in music production and DJ.....also got likes from
ZJ liquid(Jamaica).
6. What challenges have you faced breaking through into the industry?
6.Challenges are many first
ignorance....security......Frauds......Scam businesses.....
7. What's is your most preffered genre of music?

7.Hip hop....Dancehall....Reggae......Afro beats.....House and local.....
8. Do you think Kenyan deejays are doing enough in promoting Kenyan
 locally and internationally?

8.Yes and this depends with what the artist has recorded because you
cant expect to play a song that has no content and meaning
9. Where do aspire to be career wise in the next three years?.
9.Great music producer.....To have done tour both locally and international
10. What should be done to grow the music industry in kenya from your perspective as a dj?

10.Giving each artist a chance to record his/her own track and
accepting the feedback of the track either......and always accept to
be corrected....and allowing more event platforms
